Will I need a building permit?
The number, size, location and intended use of the units you want will determine the amount of work that will be done onsite. In some cases, that will require a building permit. Please provide us with as much information as possible and we will advise on whether a permit is required.
How much lead time is required?
Whether you’re purchasing or renting, it is a good idea to give yourself at least two weeks of lead time. While some units can be delivered in as little as a couple of days from the time of order, other factors, such as fleet availability and whether a unit has already been serviced, may affect delivery time.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
When Toronto, Canada’s largest city, won its bid in 2009 to host the 2015 Pan-Am/Parapan-Am Games, planning began immediately for this high-profile event. Organizers had just five short years to build 35 competition venues across 10,000 square kilometres of Southern Ontario.
They would rely heavily on modular infrastructure to pull that off. Not every venue is destined to remain a prized legacy for the host city. Light and mobile multi-purpose buildings provide the temporary, but necessary, infrastructure needed to make any event of this scale a success.
Organizers turned to us for much of what was needed.
For the Games, we built 192 standalone modular units totalling more than 96,000 sq. ft for a variety of uses. This included ticketing booths, broadcast facilities for media, regular offices, double-decker and bleacher offices, medical centres, hybrid toilet units with universal access design, change rooms, showers and lounges for judges and athletes.
How much does a modular building cost?
There are many factors that affect the rental or purchase price of a unit. This includes layout, location, add-ons and delivery date. One of our sales representatives would be happy to provide you with a free estimate.
What size is right for me?
To help you determine the best solution, have on hand information about the number of employees who will be working at the site, the number of offices required and the square footage needed per person. The size of the property that the units will occupy is also important. These considerations will help determine the optimal size of the unit for maximum cost efficiency.
Do you offer furniture and add-ons?
Yes! Many of our units come with steps or we can build stairs and ramps to ensure accessibility. We can also supply skirting, furniture and water and sewage tanks for the duration of the rental. Depending on the kind of unit you are renting or purchasing there may be other options. Please contact a sales representative for more information.
